Chromebook-pup from ETP: Overview: This Pup attempts to mirror a Google Chromebook. The concept is similar to Blue Pup in that it is intended to be simple & familiar in order to attract new users to PUPPY with all its benefits. It does however have a dual personality in that it can just be used in the cloud centric fashion of a Chromebook or as a normal Pup. Pretty much anything can be installed via PPM & QUICKPET.... An interesting build from ETP chromecast_pup is a specialised Pup for anyone who owns or intends to buy a Chromecast. I have found that my own is excellent with YouTube but rather poor with the experimental feature of casting a browser tab. It really comes into its own however when used with Videostream to cast local video/audio files to your TV. Even better, fellow audiophiles can also use it to stream quality audio to their Hi-Fi. If the audio kit lacks a HDMI input (Valve/Tube amps generally... Topics: Puppy Linux, chromecast_pup, chromecast, quirky tahr, ETP

A remaster of Puppy Linux Tahr by ETP "Inspiration for it came in the form of Windows 8.1, with its ability to switch between a traditional desktop and the âMetroâ style fondle slab interface. Other goals were Chromebook like speed together with ease of use. âBlueâ was the MS codename for Win 8.1, which hopefully it should leave trailing in the dust. It is likely to polarise opinion and is based on Quirky Tahr version 6.05 k3-12-6. The install is to a USB2 or USB3 stick of at least... Topics: Puppy Linux, blue_pup, tahr, windows 8.1, metro, ETP

Happy Scrappy: Hero Pup performing live at Artspace in Richmond, VA on 17 February 2007. Most of it was recorded on minidisc by Kenneth Yates. A few parts were missing, but luckily there was a concurrent microcassette recording that could be used to patch up the holes. The resulting variations in sound quality throughout are intended to be enjoyed as an important part of the piece as a whole, especially the more jarring transitions.
